As one of the founders of modern coating technology, DRIAM has been at the forefront worldwide for over 25 years and is now the market leader in the development of large-coaters with perforated, polygonal drums and a patented process air duct through the external channels.

In 1951, DRIAM was founded. For many years, the company claimed to be a purely mechanical engineer. Later, the division of coating technology developed into the sole and demanding business segment. Today, DRIAM is active worldwide and represented on all continents. We have our own offices in North America and Eastern Europe and have worked with our licensee in Japan for many years. Our customers include companies from the confectionery, pharmaceutical, chemical, detergent, fertilizer, agro-seed and animal feed industries.

In the 80 years, it was deliberately focused on a lean and flexible production, in order to react quickly to customer requests and to be able to meet special requirements. Many years of trusting cooperation with selected suppliers in the region guarantee us to constantly improve our quality and to develop our plants in an innovative and effective way.

Employees are reflected in the claim and success of a company. motivation, knowledge and willingness to work are crucial. Integration, education and training are therefore the first priority at all levels. The international orientation of our activities places high demands and also offers interesting works with multicultural demands. Therefore, open-mindedness and tolerance towards different-thinking and foreign cultures is essential for our daily cosiness.

The field service in more than 40 countries is mainly taken over by contracted, local partners. These ‘ customer experts ‘ are controlled and supported by the sales department, which ensures that the necessary supplies and services are provided at the right time at the right place and that communication with our customers is running smoothly.

Coaters are process-related equipment: processes and machines are equally weighted components of our technology. In our technical facilities, excellently trained and experienced employees are engaged in the adaptation, and new development of processes and products as well as advising our customers on all these issues.

Our engineers use their many years of experience to define the best possible technical solution for each project. Continuous further development and the search for new innovative paths result in a continuous optimization of our coaters. Each project is always assigned an engineer, who is available as the responsible contact person for the customer.
