DRIAM was again present at this year’s PackExpo in Chicago from 14.-17.10.2018 with a booth in the segment of the confectionery industry. During the four days of the fair many conversations with our customers took place and interesting new contacts were made. Overall, we were pleased about a record attendance at our stand and look forward to the further project talks with pleasure.
Ali Rajabi-Siahboomi, Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer, represented Colorcon at the CRS Annual Meeting & Expo in New York. The study depicted demonstrates how the Acryl-EZE coating formulation can be used to increase production throughput by optimizing coating weight in each chamber of the DRIAM Conti-Coater DRIACONTI-T 1000/7 P.
At the ACHEMA 2018 in Frankfurt, DRIAM presented itself in two places. Our newly designed stand in hall 3 was well visited. The main interest of the visitors was the continuous coating process. With videos, the DRIACONTI Pharma Lab machine and the 3D model of a typical system, we were able to present easily the benefits of our unique continuous coating approach to our customers.
The presentation of our continuous coater DRIACONTI-T 1000/7 in the so-called Cube on the booth of our new cooperation partner for Continuous Manufacturing Glatt GmbH, Binzen also celebrated its premiere in hall 3. The audience was presented with a complete continuous pharmaceutical production line starting with powder feeding and mixing down to the packaging of the tablets. Prior to Achema 2018 in Frankfurt, Glatt and DRIAM agreed to cooperate on projects for the continuous production of pharmaceuticals.
